This indoor motion sensor uses PIR technology to monitor small movements up to 20 ft. and large movements beyond 36 ft., delivering confident, wall-to-wall coverage in private offices, private restrooms, closets, and copy rooms. As a practical motion detector switch, it supports LEDs, electronic and magnetic ballasts, CFLs, and incandescent lights, and its integrated photocell (disabled by default) can keep lights from turning on when daylight is present. Installation is straightforward thanks to a convertible neutral design that works with or without a neutral, plus interchangeable line and load wires that make it impossible to wire backwards. Time delay and operating modes are push-button adjustable; sensitivity is factory-tuned for reliable detection. Use it as a motion sensor for light, motion switch for lights, or motion light sensor to cut wasted energy while keeping rooms welcoming and hands-free.
